Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau

Client:
The DCVB is tasked with increasing the profile and exposure for the City of Dallas.  As a department for the City of Dallas it is responsible for both national and international efforts to entice visitors and businesses to experience all that Dallas has to offer.

Challenge:
The DCVB requires ongoing consulting for diversification of the cities image for international visitors.  The City of Dallas had approved a diversity initiative to reach individual segments of the community that can benefit the growth of the cities visitor count.  An important part of this initiative was a new site to be developed that required an agency capable of the meeting the needs of the distinct segments for the asian market segment.

Action:
Trovada Davis began researching the requirements for a this initiative and developing a campaign that was diverse to reach across the domographic boundaries within the asian community.  The result was the creation of dallasasian.com which would serve as the online portal with offerings of 6 languages including Chineese, Korean and 4 other languages.  As a promotional event TROVADA DAVIS orchestrated a successful launch of the new asian campaign for the city with the rollout of the new site. 

Results:
International coverage of the new site launch coupled with coverage of the new City of Dallas initiative to reach the international and national asian community.  The launch event was a success in raising the awareness of the asian community at the national level with traffic counts that continue to rise.

Dallas Asian Site
